Welcome to Time Reporting

We are delighted to introduce you to DOM Time Reporting, your go-to system for efficiently recording the hours you work. This platform is designed to streamline the time entry process, ensuring that you can easily and accurately log your contributions each day. Whether you're tracking project hours, meetings, training sessions, or other work-related activities, this tool is here to support you.

Why Time Reporting Matters

DoIT funding comes from revenue for IT services provided to agencies, often in the form of billable time for consulting services. Even if your time is not considered billable, Time Reporting is an essential tool to understand and optimize where staff are spending time. It also provides transparency to our agency partners regarding DoIT activities and showcases the incredible work you do every day.

Best Practices for Time Entry

  • Log your time daily. Recording your hours at the end of each workday helps maintain accuracy and ensures that no work is forgotten.
  • Account for all work activities. Your time report should include all hours spent on meetings, training sessions, administrative tasks, and any other job-related duties.
  • Don’t forget weekends and holidays. If you perform any work outside regular business hours, including weekends or public holidays, be sure to log it.
  • Complete your time entry before the weekend. All time should be entered before you leave work at the end of each week.
  • Meet the final monthly deadline. Time must be fully reported before the close of business on the last working day of the month. Late submissions can lead to billing delays and impact our ability to operate efficiently.
